Confidence judgments in event recall: developmental progression in the impact of question format
Article Abstract:
The metacognitive monitoring processes involved in children's ability to recall events and the accuracy of such recall is explored along with a study of the effects of question formats on their competency. Developmental progression in the metacognitive ability was observed with the ability being limited to an unbiased question format.
