Degree of social contact affects the emission of food calls in the common marmoset (callithrix jacchus)
Article Abstract:
A study was done to investigate influenced of different n social contexts on the emission of food calls by common marmosets, keeping in constant the quality and quantity of food, to avoid the confounding effects of these variables. The results showed that the proportion of intervals in which food calls were produced increased with the decrease of degree of social input; the highest values were recorded during conditions of isolation and visual isolation.

Response to novel food and the role of social influences in common marmosets (Callithrix jacchus) and Goeldi's monkeys (Callimico goeldii)
Article Abstract:
A study to explore the response of novel food and role of social influences in adult common marmosets and Goeldi' monkeys is conducted. The social influences were observed in explorative behavior of Goeldi's monkeys but not in explorative or eating behavior in common marmosets.

Relations among birth condition, maternal condition, and postnatal growth in captive common marmoset monkeys (Callithrix jacchus)
Article Abstract:
A present study conducted characterize the relations among maternal condition, litter size, birth condition and growth in body weight for a population of common marmosets. The subject of the study was marmosets born into a single colony between 1994 and 2001.
