Discourses of savings
Article Abstract:
Lay consumers' perception of risk and anxiety, brought by changes in economic and social policies and reorganization of financial services and service providers, affects saving behavior. Lay consumers are aware that changes such as new tax regulations and price increases or decreases, and invoke understanding that they need to create a new method of consumption. Katona's conclusions, based on different circumstances, bring different conclusions from savings behavior research using a qualitative research approach.

Rethinking the relationship between economics and psychology
Article Abstract:
Economic psychology is supposed to be an area of discipline in which economics and psychology are to meet. However, economists are interested in psychology in as much as it can be applied in predicting consumer behavior or cognitive psychology. Psychologists, on the other hand, seek to study the social aspects of economic behavior. Economic psychology right now has a strong economic agenda when it should be a part of applied psychology, both social and cognitive.
