Event-related potentials during delayed recognition of Wechsler memory scale-R paired associate learning
Article Abstract:
A study of the cortical event related potentials that occur in subjects taking the Wechsler Memory Scale-R's (WMS-R) Paired Associate Learning (PAL) subtest during the Delayed Recall phase tends to confirm the psychophysiological validity of the test. Observed P300 latencies and amplitudes are systematically associated with certain memory procedures in various brain locations. Measured P300 amplitude was at its highest during the test segment involving recognition of matching word pairs.

Eating problems and interpersonal functioning among several groups of women
Article Abstract:
A study of interpersonal difficulties in several groups of women showing eating problems at distinct levels of severity suggests that interpersonal problems alone do not lead to eating disorders. Some 230 women were evaluated on three measures: the Eating Disorders Questionnaire, the Neuroticism Scale, and the Young Loneliness Inventory. The data indicate that interpersonal problems exacerbate eating disorders only in women with a predisposition towards compulsive eating.
