Extending the activity restriction model of depressed affect: evidence from a sample of breast cancer patients
Article Abstract:
Depression as the probable result of the restriction of normal activities in breast cancer patients is discussed. Variables such as age, self-consciousness, and social support also explained this symptom. Survey data from 95 breast cancer patients provided the data.

Self-blame attributions in women with newly diagnosed breast cancer: a prospective study of psychological adjustment
Article Abstract:
This article explores the presence of behavioral and characterological self-blame in women diagnosed with breast cancer. Attitudes at 3, 6, and 12 months after diagnosis, and implications for social-cognitive adaptation are discussed.
