Factor structure of the Paranoia Scale of the MMPI-2 in relation to the Harris-Lingoes subscales and Comrey factor analysis
Article Abstract:
The structure of the Paranoia scale of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 was derived and validated in a sample of substance use disorder patients. Positive correlation was found in factors labeled Paranoia and Low Morale, while inverse correlation was found in Naivete. The content of the Paranoia factor was associated with the concept of paranoia, and Low Morale had a high correlation with General Maladjustment.

Development of a new critical thinking test using item response theory
Article Abstract:
The initial development of the Wagner Assessment Test (WAT) to recognize critical thinking, using a five-faceted view popularized by the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA) is presented. Item response theory is used to examine the degree to which WGCTA may suffer from guessing-related psychometric limitations associated with its two-alternative, multiple choice items.
