Article Abstract:
Research reveals that the 'negative mood' and 'positive mood' factors are robust across sex and age group, among elderly, young adults, and adolescents, and among referred and non refereed populations ar profound. This was revealed on analyzing the factor structure of the state and trait versions of the Depression Adjective Check Lists (DACL), which consisted of E, F and G. The trait forms of the DACL were of similar factor structure, defined by the 'negative mood' and a 'positive mood' dimension.
