Fast, frugal, and rational: how rational norms explain behavior
Article Abstract:
The central role for rational norms in the explanation of human behavior is outlined which is quite different from that embodied in classical or unbounded rationality. A new competition between Take-the-Best and a range of algorithms based on existing cognitive architectures widely used in cognitive science and artificial intelligence is also conducted.
