Categorizing fear: the role of trauma in a clinical formation
Article Abstract:
A number of difficulties are to be encountered in the evaluation and treatment of an individual with a history of severe psychological trauma, whose condition meets criteria for several disorders and presents problems in multiple domains of functioning. This is aptly illustrated in the case of a 39-year-old mother named Hope with one son she had not seen in many years and who had experienced several failed early treatment efforts.

Childhood-onset psychosis: evolution and comorbidity
Article Abstract:
A clinical case study of a 12-year-old child with a lifelong history of serious problems in behavior, mood and reality testing is presented. The child's psychopathology was very difficult to understand which made the diagnosis complicated. His case indicates a probable evolution of psychotic disorders and underscores the limitations of current nosology. A satisfactory resolution of his diagnosis has yet to be achieved.
