Article Abstract:
The analysis of five groups of socially monogamous owl monkeys (Aotus azarai azarai) in Formosa, Argentina, to elucidate the food sharing trends under natural conditions is described. The findings indicate towards an extremely unique kind of food sharing among animals which are likely to be socially advantageous to monogamous mammals with paternal care.
