Helping children adjust - a Tri-Ministry Study: II. Program effects
Article Abstract:
The effects of a school-based Tri-Ministry Study assessing the effectiveness of social skills training (SS), partner reading (RE) and a combination of the two (SS & RE), are described. Statistically significant increases in prosocial behaviour were observed in the playgrounds of intervention schools and there was some evidence that SS & RE and SS along had modest beneficial effects.
