Innovative interventions for disordered eating: Evaluating dissonance-based and yoga interventions
Article Abstract:
The efficacy of cognitive dissonance and yoga programs as interventions that could help in overcoming eating-disordered behavior amongst college women was assessed. It was concluded that while dissonance intervention was an efficient and inexpensive approach to reducing the risk factors of eating disorders, further research was required to establish the value of yoga intervention.

Parenting concerns of women with histories of eating disorders
Article Abstract:
The literature on parenting among women with eating disorders (EDs), and the process of developing an intervention addressing their parenting concerns are discussed. Children of women with anorexia nervosa may be at risk for developing eating disorders themselves.

Genetic epidemiology, endophenotypes, and eating disorder classification
Article Abstract:
The impact of genetic epidemiology on the identification and classification of endophenotypes and eating disorders is analyzed. The findings show that a new homogeneous classification system properly reflecting the biological mechanisms needs to be developed.
