Research is presented concerning the influence of accuracy motivation in the recall of events witnessed by adults and 6-, 7- and 8-year-old children during a video depicting conflict between children.

"It's magic!" the effects of presentation modality on children's event memory, suggestibility, and confidence judgments
Article Abstract:
A study was carried out on 270 children in three age groups, regarding the influence of presentation modality on children's memory, recognition and metamemorial monitoring processes. The memory performance showed increase with the presentation modality and confidence judgments were not affected.

The strategic regulation of children's memory performance and suggestibility
Article Abstract:
Studies were conducted to investigate developmental progression in children's ability to strategically regulate their memory performance in terms of memory accuracy. The results suggested that the reminders were ineffective in stimulating strategic control behavior in children, independent of the age.
