Justice and equality in mental health law: the European experience
Article Abstract:
The article evaluates the impact of the September 2003 European Convention on Human Rights on mental health policy in the United Kingdom. It is posited that the Convention is more effective in protecting patients from unnecessary or undesired treatment than in offering them access to care and treatment they need or desire.

Fitness to be sentenced: a historical, comparative and practical review
