Sexual violence and weight control techniques among adolescent girls

Article Abstract:

Research investigating the relationship between sexual violence and practices of weight control amongst adolescent girls is presented, on the basis of a survey of 2,629 girls. It is concluded that experiences of sexual violence enhances the practice of weight control.

Latent profile analysis of a cohort of patients with eating disorders not otherwise specified

Article Abstract:

A study presents a latent profile analysis (LPA) of a group of patients to classify the various eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOS). Most of the EDNOS cases are found to be very similar to anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa or the binge eating disorder.
