Practical issues in self-observation
Article Abstract:
It is important to consider the practical issues associated with designing and introducing self-observation systems with clients and research participants. Research in this area has reviewed investigations related to training clients and research participants in self-monitoring approaches. Training in self-monitoring procedures is significant mainly because it is not possible for researchers and clinicians to assume that clients or research participants are aware of how to observe and record their own behaviour properly.

Validity issues in clinical assessment
Article Abstract:
There are a number of validation issues that arise in designing tools for the measurement of behavior and in regards to the common reasons for applying assessment methods in clinical psychology. It is imperative to clearly categorize and understand the phenomenon, to forecast some of the specific behavioral tendencies of the person being examined, to suggest measures to bring about the changes in behavior and to evaluate the changes over a period of time.
