Psychometric properties of the posttraumatic cognitions inventory (PTCI): A replication with motor vehicle accident survivors
Article Abstract:
A study was done to examine the factor structure, internal consistency, concurrent validity, and discriminative validity of posttraumatic Cognitions Inventory (PTCI) with a sample of 112 individuals who had experienced a serious motor vehicle accident. Negative cognitions about oneself, negative cognitions about the world and self-blame are the supporting results of the study.

The cross-cultural replicability of the five-factor model (FFM) of personality as represented by the revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO), is investigated. The cross-cultural replicability of the FFM and the validity of the NEO-PI-R and PSY-5 constructs in the psychological assessment of psychiatric patients, is made evident by the same.

On the usefulness of measures of normal personality for clinical assessment: evidence of the incremental validity of the Revised NEO Personality Inventory
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on 1,342 inpatient substance abusers, who were assessed with structured clinical interviews to determine their diagnostic status. The different implications of including measures of normal personality into clinical assessment batteries are discussed.
