Psychosocial characteristics of criminals committing incest and other sex offenses: A survey in a Taiwanese prison
Article Abstract:
The psychosocial characteristics of criminals who had committed incest or other sexual offenses are investigated. It was concluded that even though incest sex offenders showed fewer mental disorders, they needed psychiatric treatment and this treatment should be focused not only on their mental disorder and related symptoms but especially to correct their abnormal behavior.

Developing comparative criminology and the case of China: An introduction
Article Abstract:
The theoretical and methodological impediments in the development of comparative criminology in China are analyzed. The analysis has shown that the case study method using the nation as the unit of analysis can overcome the limitation of its descriptive tradition and become a promising methodological approach for comparative criminology.
