Reducing conduct problems among children brought to women's shelters: Intervention effects 24 months following termination of services
Article Abstract:
An attempt is made to evaluate whether the Project SUPPORT intervention influenced the likelihood that mothers would be able to maintain their households independent of their abusive partners, with the expectation that mothers in the Project SUPPORT intervention condition would be more likely to do so than mothers in the existing services comparison condition. It is evaluated whether mothers' return to their partners is associated with recurrence of violence toward the mother and with clinical levels of children's conduct problems.

Estimating the number of American children living in partner- violent families
Article Abstract:
The main goal of the study conducted was to provide an updated, scientifically sound estimate of the number of American children living in partner-violent households. Based on a secondary analysis of a large, national, multistage probability sample of married and cohabiting couples, the estimate reflects intimate partner violence in dual-partner households with children.
