Relations between dietary restraint, depressive symptoms, and binge eating: A longitudinal study
Article Abstract:
Temporal relations between dietary restraint, depressive symptoms, and binge eating are tested through three competing models that demonstrate the relationship between future binge eating, dietary restraint and depressive symptoms. The pattern of relations and effect sizes suggest that depressive symptoms, but not dietary restraint, increase the risk of binge eating for late adolescent females.
