Saccadic eye movement task identifies cognitive deficits in children with schizophrenia, but not in unaffected child relatives
Article Abstract:
Two set of population of 6-15 year old children, those with childhood-onset schizophrenia and non-psychotic children with a first-degree relative with schizophrenia are studied, utilizing a potential endophenotype, the ability to inhibit saccades to a task-relevant stimulus. Children with childhood onset-schizophrenia saccadic abnormalities similar to those found in adults supporting the continuity of executive function deficits in childhood-onset with adolescent and adult-onset schizophrenia, however saccadic tasks are not sensitive to genetic risk in non-psychotic children.

The Prevalence of mental health problems in Ethiopian child laborers
Article Abstract:
The psychiatric disorders among child laborers are the result of involvement in exploitative economical activities that are mentally, physically and socially hazardous. The emotional and behavioral disorders are more common among child laborers than among non-laborers and government and public should understand the risk of psychological difficulties and view this as a menace in child's development.
