Sex offender legislation in the United States: What do we know?
Article Abstract:
The present trends in sex offender legislation and the impact these policies can have on sex offender recidivism and treatment is discussed. However, there is very little empirical evidence suggesting that the laws are effective in preventing future recidivism.
