Social communication deficits in conduct disorder: a clinical and community survey
Article Abstract:
Children with disruptive behaviour generally have a deficit in social communication skills including pragmatic skills and in some cases also possess autistic characteristics. The study of the association between these is done by surveying 142 children with conduct disorder or autistic spectrum condition using children's communication checklist. The study suggests that significant minority of children with disruptive behaviour have significant previously unidentified, social communication difficulties.

Response reversal and children with psychopathic tendencies: Success is a function of salience of contingency change
Article Abstract:
The performance of children with psychopathic tendencies was investigated on a novel probabilistic response reversal task involving four conditions with gradated reward-punishment contingencies. The impairment observed in the children with psychopathic tendencies was an inverse function of the salience of the contingency change.

Intact inner speech use in autism spectrum disorder: evidence from a short-term memory task
Article Abstract:
The use of inner speech or visual imagery to support recall from short-term memory by children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) was investigated. It was observed that inner speech was used to the same extent by both individuals with ASD and those without the disorder.
