An fMRI examination of developmental differences in the neural correlates of uncertainty and decision-making
Article Abstract:
The potential developmental differences in frontal regions associated with uncertain decision-making is examined and the impact of intolerance of uncertainty (IU) on these circuits is tested with the help of fMRI scans acquired while a decision making task with conditions of varied uncertainty is completed by adults and adolescents. Region of interest analysis of feedback related processing found the adolescents demonstrated greater activation during incorrect trials while adults showed no difference.

Explaining heterogeneity in utility functions by individual differences in decision modes
Article Abstract:
Findings of a study, linking psychometric measures with individual utility functions, are presented. Relationship between individual differences in preferred decision mode and curvature of individual utility function is also examined. Utility functions of individuals are assessed using a "lottery-based elicitation method".
