The meaning of anger for Australian indigenous offenders: The significance of context
Article Abstract:
The meaning of anger within an Australian indigenous context that might inform the development of more acceptable and potentially more effective rehabilitation programs was explored. It was found that indigenous offenders experienced anger within a broad social and political context that instilled the experience of anger with layers of culturally specific meaning.

Narrative identity and offender rehabilitation
Article Abstract:
The idea of narrative identity and its relationship to values and to assessment and treatment is examined. It is suggested that a more adaptive narrative identity and the acquisition of capabilities should be made to enable offendersE secure important values in post release environments.
