The nature of perceived authority in the Milgram paradigm: two replications
Article Abstract:
This article revisits research by social scientist S. Milgram that reveals the willingness and obedience of subjects to perform inhuman acts under pressure from an authority. A film of the experiment is shown to students and they are asked why they believe the original participants in the study believed and obeyed the authority figure, and social perception and power relations are addressed.

Self-reported leadership experiences in relation to inventoried social and emotional intelligence
Article Abstract:
Research on the emotional and social components of leadership is presented, hypothesizing that individuals who rate high on self-reported emotional and social intelligence will have a higher reporting of leadership experiences. Findings suggest that leadership was positively correlated with emotional and social intelligence.
