The relationship between treatment, incarceration, and recidivism of battering: A program evaluation of Seattle's coordinated community response to domestic violence
Article Abstract:
Domestic violence is viewed as a serious criminal offense requiring concerted attention, and several treatment programs have been set up. However there are few published studies examining the effects of domestic violence (DV) treatment on recidivism. A study considered recidivism of domestic violence following a mandatory arrest and community effort, with recidivism based on police records of DV and non-DV related offenses. Psychoeducational programs seem to have a small effect on DV, but research into diverse interventions within a coordinated community and legal framework is needed.

Deeper into divorce: using actor-partner analyses to explore systematic differences in coparenting conflict following custody dispute resolution
Article Abstract:
A study to examine systematic patterns of interpersonal influence between divorced parents who are randomly assigned to mediate or litigate a child custody dispute is conducted. Results suggests that using a framework on adjustment to marital dissolution provides a useful lens for developing a better understanding of how individual, ex-parents and parents renegotiate post divorce relationships.
