The role of the clinician: three-year predictive value of parents', teachers', and clinicians' judgement of childhood psychopathology
Article Abstract:
An assessment of differential predictive value of parents', teachers' and clinicians' reports for psychopathology for poor outcome in children is carried out. The study shows that clinician's ratings of self-reported and observed behaviors in semi-structured interview (SCICA) make important contribution to multi-axial assessment of problem behaviors.

Do risk factors for problem behavior act in a cumulative manner? An examination of ethnic minority and majority children through an ecological
Article Abstract:
Children form minority (example Indian) and majority (example English) families were examined to see if risk factors, for problem behavior in children, act in a cumulative manner and if this cumulative risk stems from ecological levels. The study shows that, the more the children experienced risk, the more likely they exhibited problem behavior.

Improving estimation of the prognosis of childhood psychopathology; combination of DSM-III-R/Disc diagnoses and CBCL scores
Article Abstract:
The clinical-diagnostic approach and the empirical-quantitative approach can be followed to assess the psychopathology among children and adolescents. Both approaches add significantly to the prediction of poor outcome and when used simultaneously provided accurate estimate of the prognosis of child psychopathology.
