Treatment of posttraumatic stress symptoms in adolescent survivors of childhood cancer and their families: a randomized clinical trial
Article Abstract:
A wait-list control randomized clinical trial of an intervention aimed at reducing posttraumatic stress symptoms (PTSS) in adolescent survivors of childhood cancer and their families was conducted. The results of the clinical trial provides preliminary evidence that a treatment model integrating cognitive-behavioral and family therapy principles can be successful in decreasing symptoms of arousal in adolescent survivors.

The importance of shared environment in infant-father attachment: a behavioral genetic study of the attachment Q-sort
Article Abstract:
Genetic and environmental influences on infant-father attachment behaviors and on temperamental dependency, both assessed with Attachment Q-Sort were measured in the first behavioral genetic study on infant-father attachment. The study suggests that the individual differences in the security of the attachment relationship with fathers have to be explained by nongenetic, environmental factors.
