Stress and hunger alter the anorectic efficacy of fluoxetine in binge-eating rats with a history of caloric restriction
Article Abstract:
Patients suffering from bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and binge-purge anorexia usually go through dieting and undergo stress to arrive at these stages. A study done examines the effect of fluoxetine to suppress binge eating is discussed. The models used for this purpose are rats with a history of caloric restrictions.
