Shooting the messenger; Battle lines blurred
Article Abstract:
The bombing by US British forces of Iraq's state-run television station raised a number of questions and brought an outcry by media and humanitarian watch organizations, the conflict for deliberate targeting the media facilities is for censorship purposes. Media organization are questioning the propriety of bombing the Iraqi television station and the Al-Jazzier, where the human rights group Amnesty International has called for an inquiry to eradicate such conflicts on the media.

Columbia's truth held captive: Where Kidnapping serves to censor
Article Abstract:
Most of the journalists kidnapped in Colombia were taken in the process of covering a war event, where the government guarantee neither mobility nor civilian protection. Kidnapping as a means to censor important information, sow fear and keep people from acting, as these kidnappers extort the consciousness of journalist to make them report on whatever is most convenient for the guerrilla and the parliamentary, turning journalist into terror propagators.
