Asset manager: new breed wanted

There has been a significant increase in private investment in the residential sector in the UK. This has led to growing demand for asset managers who are able to appreciate the balance between income and capital growth sought by investors. These managers must then assemble a portfolio and manage it to ensure maximum performance. A new generation of residential asset manager is emerging in response to these demands. These managers are able to function as a single point of contact for all lettings and management issues, and can also advise on disposals and acquisitions.
