Axe hangs over agency
Article Abstract:
Chief executive of the Urban Regeneration Agency English Partnerships, David Taylor, is to leave in July 1996. It is suggested that Taylor's departure may be connected to his relationship with Labour leadership. Labour has recently approved a regional policy commission report which calls for the abolition of English Partnerships, along with training and enterprise councils. The future of the agency is discussed.
