Duties of commercial landlords under the Patriot Act and other recent federal legislation
Article Abstract:
The salient provisions relating to national security, and money laundering activities, contained in the Patriot Act and other recent legislations that are applicable to commercial landlords, are discussed. The duties imposed by these provisions on the landlords, which include preliminary investigation of the tenant, are also discussed.
