Industrial real estate is still riding the coattails of the warehouse/distribution marketplace, as companies determine where to move their movement operations against the rising background noise of stricter trucking laws, the prospect of radio-frequency identification systems (RFID) and fuel expenses. Nearly 40 percent of new and expanded industries involved in distribution of products such as lumber, cement, steel, plastics, food, paper, chemicals, aggregates and auto parts are presented.
