Hotel investment strategies: management issues
Article Abstract:
Hotel managers who are eyeing to achieve higher rate of return must underscore the promotion of consistent communications with brokers and maintaining good relations with investment companies. They are also encouraged to venture in markets with high barriers to entry in order to protect their assets from supply growth arising from capital availability. Further, they must ensure that long-term financial projects are adequately funded and consider the interests of their operating partners. It would also be wise for hotel operators to eye possible strategic alliances and mergers to further expand their operations.

Article Abstract:
Investors can find opportunities in the United States hotel property market, despite problems associated with the industry, linked to its cyclical nature. Returns on such investments can be improved by using a specialist adviser with knowledge of this particular market.
