Landlord-tenant update
Article Abstract:
Four lawsuits between landlords and tenants, namely Rosario v. Diagonal Realty, Namphy v. Sheffield, Murphy v. 75 Oxford Street, and Towne Lakes Apartments v. Vang are presented. Sonia Rosario won the lawsuit against Diagonal, when she argued that Diagonal's rejection of subsidy payments is unlawful, while Ramon Namphy was ruled innocent of contempt by the appellate court, as the settlement agreement was found ambiguous. Details of the court rulings for the aforementioned cases are supplied.
