Article Abstract:
The UK government's approach to the listing of modern buildings has been strongly criticised by property owners, some of who have joined together to make their views known to the department of national heritage. They feel that owners of modern buildings are given too little notice of a listing, thus creating a climate of uncertainty. They also believe that the consultation process is too one-sided.
