Making light work of new tower
Article Abstract:
The town of Croydon, England, is enjoying expansion in the retail and leisure sectors of its property industry. The Whitgift Centre has recently been refurbished, and future plans include a rock venue and sports centre and the 51 mt-hight Whitgift Tower of Light. In Sutton, England, interest in empty properties is also coming mainly from companies wishing to open pubs or restaurants. Recent deals have included a lease taken by Morlands Brewery in the town's high street.

On the sunny side of the street
Article Abstract:
Retail rents in Knightsbridge vary greatly according to location, with considerable tenant incentives being available in Sloane Street, for example. Brompton Road is extremely popular with shoppers, and rents are therefore much higher there. Sloane Street has recently attracted some well-known retailers, but is unlikely to ever become as popular as Bond Street, which has a much better atmosphere as a retail location.
