The reports of the research done by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and CB Richard Ellis inc. regarding the license portability to the real estate practitioners in California are presented. The ways in which the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and other state associations are taking initiatives to modify the existing laws and to perform the real estate licensed services faster are discussed.

Real estate agents are encouraged to work to enable low- and moderate-income Americans to fulfill their dreams of home ownership. Growth restrictions in some communities means that work must be done to rehab older housing stock so there is a sufficient supply available.
