NAR takes action to amend new telemarketing rules

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has planned to challenge the decision of the Federal Communications Commission to extend the new National Do-Not-Call Registry to calls made within the state. NAR maintained that unless real estates licensees were calling across state lines, compliance with the federal law was not necessary and that they may adhere to state requirements.
