Pockets of opportunity
Article Abstract:
Some property developers are trying to meet the needs of occupiers in Oxfordshire, England, by building speculative developments as the demand for office buildings is not being met from supplies. Many occupiers are moving from the centre of Oxford whilst other occupiers are trying to take advantage of lower rents than those of properties alongside the M4. Rents for out of town buildings, such as in the Oxford Business Park, have reached 19.50 pounds sterling per sq ft. Occupiers are looking for flexible contracts. There are very few new offices in Oxford city centre.
