Property talking shop at Threadneedle St
Article Abstract:
The Bank of England now regards the property market as being an important player in the country's state of finance, as was demonstrated in the 1989-90 economic collapse when dramatic property price reductions had a serious impact on the country's financial sector. The Banks' executive director Pen Kent, initiated a property forum in 1994 to share current information with other key representatives in the industry. The overall aim is to help the property sector thrive in the ideal economy, which has non-inflationary and stable conditions.
