Regulation of stormwater pollution: an area of increasing importance to the construction industry
Article Abstract:
Builders and real estate developers are required to obtain a permit from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) relating to adequacy of stormwater discharge, which can pollute the real estate development. The penalties that EPA can impose on failure to obtain such permits are mentioned. Relevant provisions and cases are also discussed.
