Article Abstract:
Some new out-of-town development is taking place in the office property market in Lancashire, England. Some of this development is speculative, a trend which has been welcomed by property agents. There have been difficulties in the office property market in Preston, England, but this situation could change as a result of the impact of government investment on British Aerospace, a key local employer. Preston and most nearby towns are still underperforming in the office market, with electronic commerce firms and call centres focusing on more established office centres.
