Article Abstract:
A number of state governments are wising up to the labor requirements of the high technology industry, specifically the computer and information technology sector, and are taking corrective measures in their worker training programs to address such deficiencies. Added to the qualities needed by the site is the telecommunications infrastructure and access to information resource. Its manpower need is not so specialized such that it may choose any location with a favorable business climate.
