The perils of quoting too low
Article Abstract:
The Lighthouse building in Glasgow, Scotland, has been renovated to make it Scotland's Centre for Architecture Design and the City. An urban renewal project in the centre of Glasgow includes a new private and public housing development supported by Abbey National. The UK government must not reverse their decision to use brownfield sites for a large number of the new houses required by 2016. It seems likely Deputy Prime Minster John Prescott will have to announce the UK will need 5 million new houses by 2016 rather than his initial prediction of 4.4 million houses.
