Time to catch up on the shopping
Article Abstract:
The retail sector in the city of Birmingham, England, has failed to flourish over recent years because of lack of available accommodation. However, this situation is set to improve as Hammerson develops plans to build a new shopping centre on the site of the Bull Ring. This will cover 100,000 sq mt, and is likely to include at least one department store. It is regarded as vital to the future of retailing in the city.
