There is some relief from the local community in Birmingham about the government's decision to approve the Birmingham Northern Relief Road. Agents generally welcome the decision, but some have warned about the possible results of development around the road which could end up generating more traffic. Friends of the Earth notes that Green belt development, often generates extra traffic, and that sites have already been earmarked close to the new road.
