Construction is booming in the city of Philadelphia, PA, as it prepares for the GOP's July 2000 Convention. However, organizers of the convention would do well to reflect on the city's 1976 Bicentennial Celebration. Despite massive improvements, only six million visitors showed up for the celebrations.
